What I Love About Tutoring:

I love helping kids overcome math anxiety and reading comprehension barriers.  I love watching their Illinois Map scores rise so quickly.  It's amazing to see sponge-like minds learn how to enjoy working smarter instead of harder.

Math:  (k-12+) Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Precalc, Calc, some college level math. Spanish, ELA, History, Biology, & Chemistry.

I taught my kid brother when he was 7 years old.

What I Love About Tutoring:

I have always been a helper and tutoring students while seeing them grow is a rewarding feeling. Everyone struggles at one point, and I love being able to play a role in helping students overcome their challenges.

I love playing sports, being with family and friends, and just enjoying life. I am pursuing a career in medicine as an aspiring physician.

What I Love About Tutoring:

I love tutoring because it allows me to spend quality time with my students helping them with learning in its true sense and mastering the concepts. Students develop confidence and learn at their own pace. One on one tutoring helps students clarify any doubts they may have. They do not hesitate to ask any questions and above all I enjoy the trust and long lasting relationships that I develop with my students and their families.

I enjoy working with my hands ..yep DIY is what I like to do. Cooking is my passion. So don't be surprised if you see me in the aisles of the grocery store looking for different ingredients.

Every student is different. What I love most about tutoring is learning about what makes that student unique and using their strengths to conquer the subject at hand. We all have areas in which we struggle. With commitment and hard work, we can work to change that struggle into a strength.

I believe each and every child has the potential to be the best at whatever they put their minds to! My continuous goal is to help instill a passion and love of learning. Watching a child grow and thrive, along with their progression and increased confidence, is what I love most about helping children. I love making a positive and meaningful impact that will hopefully last a child's lifetime.

What I Love About Tutoring:

I love helping students grow and reach their full potential by teaching them skills and strategies that they then use independently. My role as a tutor is not only to teach content but also to develop their confidence in their ability to overcome frustration and struggles that come with academics. It is a very rewarding and exciting process that I love to be a part of.

I started my career as a teacher through my experience as a tutor in COVID, which I believe shows very positively imy teaching style. In the classroom we constantly try to create personal learning experiences that can truly only be found in one on one tutoring.

The subjects I am most passionate about tutoring are advanced social studies topics and English Language Arts.

Aside from the ability to interact with a variety of people, it is an honor to know that I am positively influencing the future success of these students by honing their minds. In short, it's extremely fulfilling!

What I Love About Tutoring:

I enjoy tutoring students one on one as it provides the student an opportunity to achieve a greater understanding of the content. The small group setting allows for a much tailored education versus being in a classroom, with all the focus of the tutor being on the student. All students have an ability to learn and finding the way that works for them is the goal for tutoring.

My favorite subject to tutor is science! I can tutor in Chemistry, Biology and Physics at the 6th - 12th grade level.

A fun fact about me is that I teach at the high school level and coach basketball too! 

What I Love About Tutoring:

I love forming a connection with each child, and it is great getting to watch them grow and realize their full potential! Tutoring allows me to create such a personalized experience for each child, and I love finding out what works best for them as everyone has the ability to learn. It is really rewarding to watch a student grow in confidence and succeed with my support along the way!

What I Love About Tutoring:

I love experiencing the "aha" moments with students. I enjoy witnessing the joy they experience once they truly grasp a concept and feel confident to attack the next problem independently. Tutoring provides a unique opportunity for me to build a connection with a student that not only benefits them academically, but often personally, as their self esteem and faith in themselves grows exponentially.

I am a sports lover, and especially enjoy playing hockey. I am pursuing a degree in school counseling and plan to work in a high school setting!

I love tutoring because it's a deeply rewarding opportunity to guide and inspire students on their educational journeys. Witnessing the "aha" moments when they grasp challenging concepts and witnessing their growth in confidence and understanding is incredibly fulfilling. It's a privilege to make a positive impact on their lives, instill a love for learning, and help them reach their full potential. Teaching and mentoring provide a platform for continuous learning and personal growth, fostering a sense of purpose and connection as I support students in their academic pursuits.

What I Love About Tutoring:

Have you ever experienced that magical moment when something you previously didn't understand just "clicks" for the first time? I love tutoring because I get to facilitate those moments while making sure that students feel supported as they persevere to achieve their goals. I always meet students at their current level and pace and work with them to build confidence and skill.

 I love tutoring reading, writing, grammar, psychology, ACT (English, reading and writing sections), and SAT (Reading, writing and language sections).

I'm currently working doctorate degree in clinical psychology and want to be a professor one day!

I love tutoring because of the individualized and focused attention a student can receive for their specific needs without the social pressures of learning that a classroom setting sometimes creates. And I really love seeing the "ah-ha" moment in a student's eyes when they grasp a concept they struggled with.

My favorite subjects to tutor are the various maths: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus. I also like tutoring ACT/SAT test prep.

I was featured in the Chicago Tribune sports page for playing IHSA basketball wearing a hijab!

What I Love About Tutoring:

I love forming connections with kids and being able to help them make sense of the materials they're working on. Knowing that I can help them move forward in their educational journey and become stronger, more motivated, and more passionate students is such a gratifying experience. Nothing is more satisfying than watching a student have that "aha" moment where it finally clicks for them and knowing I was a part of getting them there!
